The City of Manila has its pros and cons but it can surprise you once in awhile, especially when you’re at the right place and at the right moment. I’ve been around and managed to capture a few shots that defy the so-called “bustling Manila”. These photos are not professional looking, as I’m not a photographer, but they evoke different emotions. Some of the places captured are 5 minutes away from my house, while some of them are a bus ride away. Yet they show the different faces of this urban jungle: tranquil and dark, light and serene.
All photos were all taken with a camera phone (Nokia N82).
