An Unexpected Blessing

Sometimes, I find it hard to believe that the problems we encounter while pursuing our passion are easily extinguished by our very own faith. Whether it’s faith in a divine being or faith in ourselves, it is this faith that motivates us and brings us tremendous and UNEXPECTED blessings.

I’ve posted about going home with an empty bank account after my 30 day journey. Just to let you know, this part is not an exaggeration. Even if there are no regrets, the thought of keeping what I’ve saved for my future enters my mind sometimes (sing: I’m only human, of flesh and blood…).

But of course, at the end of the day, I’m still holding on to what I believe in, taking risks to pursue my dream.

I never really thought about it for awhile, then a few weeks ago, after posting a note on Facebook asking friends for some “LOVE” in the form of medicine and toiletries for my journey, one of my good ol’ friends messaged me saying that she’d like to offer some money instead. Though I never asked for monetary donations, it was her decision so I just thanked her for it. She said, “Well, it’s not really big.”

The truth is, I didn’t really mind at all whether I’ll be getting a dollar or a box of vitamins. I’m pretty much satisfied with the simple thought of giving / sharing – which is more important than anything tangible. And I told her that.

I didn’t really think about her “offer” until the blessing arrived yesterday with her message:

“Save some for yourself, Ric”.

Tears fell from my eyes. I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t cry because I got something from her. I cried because her generosity made my faith stronger. It made me remember the difficult times when I was about to give up, and because I didn’t, things worked out on their own.

Once you have made a decision to follow your true hearts desires, certain events come about to help you on the road to achieving your goals. You may be aware of them happening or they may happen without your knowledge. If you are willing to follow your dreams without hesitation or doubt then everything will fall into place to help that dream materialise. Everyone and everything will get out of your way to ensure you reach your destination.

If you really believe in what you do, AMAZING things can happen along the way.

KEEP THE FAITH.

PS: Thanks Kris! *Hugs*
